Vote Now On The Mascot Madness 2020 Semifinals
While Ocean County's students are on this unexpected prolonged break from the classroom, we've got something for everybody to rally around to support our schools:
The Ocean County Mascot Madness 2020 semifinals are here!
We're trimming the field once again as the search for Ocean County's best high school mascot moves into the next phase.
Here's what happened in the quarterfinals:
Quarterfinal Matchup 1 - Lacey Lions (1) vs. Barnegat Bengals (8)
Winner - Lacey Lions
Quarterfinal Matchup 2 - Brick Township Green Dragons (2) vs. Central Regional Golden Eagles (7)
Winner - Brick Township Green Dragons
Are the Lacey Lions on their way to becoming our first repeat Mascot Madness champions? If their handling of the Barnegat Bengals is any indication, they just might be.
Matching up with the Lions in this round will be the Brick Township Green Dragons, who squeezed past last year's runners-up, the Central Regional Golden Eagles.
