UPDATE - Berkeley Township Police confirm that the roadway is now open.

According to Berkeley Police Route 9 and Bay Boulevard will be closed (both directions) for at least 10-hours today.

There is a pole down on the road possibly from the strong winds last night into this morning.

Verizon is currently on the scene cutting their power and JCP&L will be there this morning addressing the pole situation.
