Police say it was about 2:15 PM when Mary Ross, 84, of the township, turned left from the northbound lanes, crossing the path of a southbound pickup truck driven by Richard Calkins II, 31, of Little Egg harbor. The impact sent the truck careening off the road and into the front of Barnegat Antiques on South Main Street.

Ross's car, meanwhile, spun and slammed a car driven by Kim McAllister, 63, of Manahawkin. McAllister had been following Ross in the line of traffic.

Ross, Calkins and a 23-year-old rider in McAllister's car were treated for minor injuries at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Stafford. Police say that Barnegat construction inspectors determined that the antique shop's structural integrity wasn't compromised.

Ross was ticketed for failure to yield.
