Tomorrow is Groundhog Day when all eyes will be on a certain critter in Pennsylvania.  If Punxatawney Phil sees his shadow, we're in for 6 more long weeks of winter.  But if he doesn't see his shadow, we can expect warmer temperatures and an early spring.  As legend has it, anyway...

I'm not a fan of cold or snow so of course I'm hoping we'll have an early spring.  If my wish comes true, this would truly be a strange winter.  Mild, Mild, Mild, BLIZZARD, Mild, Mild, Mild, then Spring.

I'm kind of an optimist so I'm thinking that this week's warmth is a sign of good things to come.  I have a hunch that the blizzard was the worst of it and we're going to see brighter days ahead.  And soon it will be spring.  (I'm smiling as I type this.)  (Oh, but I just remembered that I'm not a meteorologist.)

What do you think the rest of the winter will be like?  More cold and snowstorms?  Or will we have an early Spring?
