Things Are Happening at the Forked River Rest Stop on the Garden State Parkway

It's beginning to look a lot like a rest stop once again in Forked River, as construction continues and now the framing has begun. As you drive by mile marker 74 it is starting to look like a new complex. The old rest area was demolished to give way to a brand new facility this Summer.

State Transportation Officials are expected to complete the overhaul and open the new rest stop by Memorial Day Weekend 2020.

What shops would YOU like to see in the new rest area? Has to be a Starbucks....in my humble opinion
