Forked River Rest Area

It's been over a year now since they opened the new Forked River rest area on the Garden State Parkway. The rest stop is located at mile marker 74. The rest stop is beautiful but in my opinion, it needs some added attractions.

Let me continue by saying this is not a “complaint” article it’s a “suggestion” article. In this case I’m referring to the new rest area located on the Garden State Parkway at mile marker 74. It’s new it’s clean and it’s a great addition for commuters in Ocean County on the Parkway. But with that said I just want to add a recommendation.

After a year of being closed, the Forked River Rest Area on the Garden State Parkway has reopened with Burger King anchoring.

Will the new forked river rest stop open this week? This weekend I stopped into the Forked River fueling station on the Garden State Parkway. This was my first fill up since it recently re-opened for service.

Things Are Happening at the Forked River Rest Stop on the Garden State Parkway. What shops would YOU like to see in the new rest area? Has to be a Starbucks....in my humble opinion

If you haven't passed by the Forked River rest area on the Garden State Parkway at mile marker 74 in Ocean County, then you have been missing "demo days" at the complex.
