Birdwatching at the Jersey Shore.....Spring is here at the Jersey Shore and this weekend I stumbled across this woodpecker family doing some Spring cleaning of their home....a true tree house. I sat back and watched and photographed their work, I hope you enjoy a look at Jersey Shore nature at it's best....a break from the negatives we hear and see everyday.

Shawn Michaels' Visit to the "WALL" at the US-Mexico Border....It's a story we hear about everyday in the National News, the Wall, at the US-Mexico border. During my recent trip to Southern California I wanted to see for myself, so we took a trip to the border and visited the Tijuana National Estuary.

It was our first trip to Duke Farms, which is a neat place to visit to see maple syrup making, try out their delicious cafe or hike through their wonderful park.

They're back! What are we talking about? the "Snowy Owl" .... these beautiful birds of prey have returned to the Jersey Shore.

I know others have seen plenty of Bald Eagles here at the Jersey Shore, but I have not encountered any here at home....but that ended over the weekend!

We are really starting to see color here at the Jersey Shore, as it's finally beginning to look like Autumn.

It was amazing to watch the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, President Trump will be part of the Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony today in Virginia at Arlington.
