The Stone Pony continues their signature outdoor concert series tonight on the Stone Pony Summer Stage with Cake and Ben Folds.

I'm checking out the show tonight, and I had the opportunity to chat with the lead singer from Cake, John McCrea.

We talked about everything from playing outdoor concerts in the summer, to the band's signature sound that we all know from "The Distance", which rocketed to the top of the charts in '96, and 2001's "Short Skirt/Long Jacket", and more.
