Single-car crash causes brief power outages Sunday in Beachwood

A single car crash on Double Trouble Road near Birch Street in Beachwood Sunday night was the reason for a number of power outages in the area say Beachwood Volunteer fire officials.

The crash crashed into a utility pole which caused several trees to snap.

The driver's condition is currently unknown after being treated for minor injuries by the Beachwood First Aid Squad.

JCP&L also responded to the scene of the accident and repaired the utility pole in order to restore power to the area by this morning.

Beachwood Police are investigating the cause of the crash and its circumstances.
