Don’t Miss the Easter Egg Hunt Fun in Beachwood, NJ
Easter will be here before we know it, and if you’re a parent, you know that means one thing: egg hunts, excited kids, and a whole lot of springtime magic in New Jersey.
One of the sweetest traditions in Ocean County is back again, and families in Beachwood won’t want to miss it.
A Beloved Easter Tradition in Beachwood, NJ
The Beachwood Recreation Committee is proudly hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Mayo Park, and it’s the kind of event that turns into a yearly family tradition before you even realize it.
When is Beachwood's Easter egg hunt?
The Easter egg hunt is Sunday March, 29th, 2026. Picture this: kids lined up with baskets in hand, eyes wide with excitement, waiting for that moment. Then suddenly, sirens from the Beachwood Police Department go off at exactly 12 PM, and just like that, the hunt is ON.
Eggs everywhere, laughter in the air, and pure joy on every little face.
But it’s not just about the eggs.
Make It a Family Tradition Year After Year
Families can meet the Easter Bunny (yes, photos are a must), let the kids get creative with a fun craft, and just enjoy being outside together as the weather finally starts to feel like spring again.
And honestly, that’s why we love Easter egg hunts so much.
It’s not about what’s inside the eggs (although candy definitely helps). It’s about:
Watching your kids light up with excitement
Slowing down and being present as a family
Creating those little traditions they’ll remember forever
Getting outside after a long winter
Sharing a moment with your community
These are the days that stick. The ones where your child proudly shows you their basket like it’s treasure. The ones where you snap a slightly chaotic, candy-filled photo that somehow becomes your favorite memory of the season.
Is there a rain date? Yes...
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, no worries, the rain date is set for Saturday, April 4th, 2026.

So grab the baskets, bring the grandparents, and maybe even make a full day of it. Because before you know it, the kids will be older, the baskets will be gone, and you’ll miss these simple, happy moments.
Until then? Let them run, laugh, and collect every last egg.
