"This is as much of a tradition as the (Toms River) Halloween parade" Beachwood Mayor Ron Roma

Are YOU ready for the return of the Beachwood Fireworks on the 4th of July? Last year's spectacular was cancelled following a problem with the fireworks company.

In a recent Patch article ....  "We were devastated," Beachwood Mayor Ron Roma said recently. "We felt like we let people down, even though it was out of our control." ... "It was a giant letdown," Roma said. According to Officials ... the show dates back to 1922, when flare guns were used to send the fireworks into the sky.

The Fireworks Display is being done by Fireworks Extravaganza, and Mayor Roma said there are contingencies to make sure last year's cancellation is not repeated.
