Stafford Township is giving several options for fitness centers to increase flexibility for outdoor activities.

The township is allowing tents at fitness centers to try to make it easier for gyms and fitness centers to operate during Covid-19, according to the patch.com. Since gyms can't open yet due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fitness centers and gyms can not bring their equipment outside but patrons can bring their own equipment if the fitness center allows it. Tents will be installed at several gyms in Stafford Township to have fitness activities outside such as yoga, karate, etc.

Gov. Murphy ordered the closure of gyms and other businesses in March so this would be a great option for fitness centers. Gradually Gov. Murphy opened up some businesses but gyms and fitness centers remain closed. Some gyms had to close down like Tilton Fitness Center in Manahawkin and their other locations permanently in June.

So many of my friends are missing their gym. They've been so creative on making up exercise routines for not going to the gym. There are many towns and townships trying to be creative for gyms and fitness centers. Many towns have allowed fitness centers use their stages in their parks, which has really helped.

Like Tilton Fitness and their locatiions, I'm just wondering about other gyms and fitness centers in Ocean County. They've been closed for almost five months now, I can't even imagine. For my friends and owners of gyms, keep holding on, hopefully soon we will relatively be back to normal. People need their gyms and fitness centers for a regular routine.
