Ocean County School Rankings 2020

In a recent Patch article, Niche.com released their "best of" rankings for schools here in New Jersey. Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student life data from the US Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users.

Only two schools in Ocean County made the Top 250 in the state: MATES in Stafford Township and the Bay Head Elementary. MATES finished very high at 11th in New Jersey.

OCVTS - Marine Academy of Technology & Environmental Science (MATES), Manahawkin (public, 9-12) ranked 11th in the state.

Bay Head Elementary School (public, K-8) ranked 243rd in the state.

The top-ranked school in Burlington County is Moorestown Friends School which ranked 36th in the State.

The top-ranked school in Monmouth County is High Technology High School in Lincroft which ranked 5th in the State.

The Lawrenceville School finished first in New Jersey.
