New Ice Cream and Candy Store Opens in Point Pleasant Beach Amid COVID Pandemic

This is a follow up on an article originally posted by Justin, we are giving you a peak inside this new business here in Ocean County.

These days amid the Coronavirus Pandemic we hear more about businesses closing as opposed to opening, but this story is about a new business opening during the COVID 19 Pandemic.

Haven's Sweet Shop has just opened in Point Pleasant Beach. The owner Michael Lagsner of Brick decided to open the Ocean County business, despite the strange times, after his DJ Entertainment company saw a dramatic downturn during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Langsner said, “This project has been an absolute refresher. In the crazy times we are living, one thing seems to remain the same… chocolates and ice cream make happy people. Our goal is to be family friendly, to know our customers on a first name basis, and to know their favorite flavors. Even though employees and guests need to wear face masks, it is obvious that the locals and visitors are smiling in excitement!”

The new Sweet Shop is located at 512 Bay Avenue, right off Arnold Avenue in beautiful Point Pleasant Beach.
