You may have noticed a transformation as you've approached downtown Toms River in the last two weeks or so. If you've wondered about the colorful new work of art on the side of Nancy's Cafe, we can tell you all about it!

It's all a part of the Engage Toms River campaign that the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation has been spearheading here in Ocean County.

You may remember, back in the Winter, we told you about the Community Mural Project. Well, after gathering entries, judging, and selecting a winner, we can all now enjoy the finished product right on a corner that many of us pass every day.

The winning mural is the design of Elizabeth Paseler. Along with her, dozens of volunteers have been working to transform an idea and design to a larger than life work of art.

Congratulations, Elizabeth, and thanks for sharing your art with us!

The next big reveal for Engage Toms River will be at the Toms River Halloween Parade when the winning float proudly rolls through town!
