It’s The Big Winter Wonderland Weekend Coming Up In Toms River, NJ

It is going to be a fun-filled weekend coming up in Downtown Toms River as we get set for Christmas in Ocean County. According to the Downtown Toms River website, "Join The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District at our Winter Wonderland.  The weekend will kick off with the Annual Tree Lighting on Friday and on the first two Saturdays in December, the courtyard will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland."

The weekend begins Friday when the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District hosts the Annual Toms River Christmas Tree Lighting. The event is Friday, December 1st from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Courtyard of Toms River Town Hall. "Live entertainment begins at 5 pm. Santa arrives on the fire truck at 7 pm to light the tree. Photos with Santa will follow the tree lighting in Town Hall.  Live music and entertainment."

The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be Hosted by Shawn Michaels from the 92.7 / 96.7 WOBM Morning Show, Stop By For Fun and Games with Townsquare Media.

On Saturday, December 2nd  from 12 pm to 6 pm Downtown Toms River transforms into a Winter Wonderland. "The courtyard will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland Village. Vendors, kid’s activities, hot chocolate station, holiday music and more.  Downtown businesses will be open."

Sunday, December 3rd 3 pm to 5 pm it's the Annual Jingle Bell 5 K. "The Toms River Police Foundation is proud to present the 2023 Jingle Bells Run in historic downtown Toms River! The 24th Annual Jingle Bell Run will be held on Sunday December 3, 2023 along a relatively flat course through downtown Toms River and scenic neighborhoods."
