Toms River Residents Plan A Rally To Support TRPD Before Today’s Toms River Township Council Meeting

There is going to be a Toms River Township Council Meeting today at 2 pm, but will there be any love as a controversial move could be on the Valentine's Day agenda?  According to Patch "But as of Tuesday evening, it was unclear whether the council will in fact be voting on a controversial ordinance that would cut two captains' positions from the Toms River Police Department. The agenda for the meeting had not been posted and a meeting notice (see it below) was not specific."

There will be a public rally today at 1 pm to (2/14/24) outside Toms River town hall to again show support for the police department.

The Toms River Township Council meeting is set for today at 2 pm at the L. Manuel Hirshblond Meeting Room on the second floor at town hall, 33 Washington Street in Downtown Toms River.
