Ocean County veterans who may be missing out on benefits, programs and services can get a comprehensive look at them March 31 in Lacey Township.

The township's Veterans Commission is organizing an information session from 1 'til 3 pm in the Lacey Elks Lodge on Beach Boulevard in Forked River.

Local, county and federal officials will offer to guide military retirees through claims processing steps and supply details about support systems for them and their families with regard to health, financial resources and even jobs.

Lacey Deputy Mayor David Most has invited Ocean County Freeholder Director Gerry Little, the county's Veterans Services liaison, along with Congressman Jon Runyan (R-3), county Veterans Services Director John Dorrity and Valeire Madore, the federal Veterans Administration Employment Coordinator.
