Is This Situation Worse Than The Freezing Outdoor Temperatures?

It's an age old debate - which is worse, being too hot or too cold?

Poll 100 people and you'll probably get 150 different answers.

But, with this week's brutal cold outside, my co-workers and I have had to debate this very question inside.

You see, while we were all frozen solid outside something else froze too - the office HVAC system, which literally ground the air to a halt.

Here's the thermostat in the WOBM studio right now:

Yup, in here it feels like a day on the beach when the west wind is blowing.

There are two main things that contribute to this.

First, to soundproof our studios they're all interior rooms. In other words, there's no window to crack open.

Second, we keep the A/C running year-round because all of the equipment in here heats things up. A lot.

Basically, it's blazing hot in here and there is literally no way to get relief.

So, which is worse, too hot or too cold?

Right now, I'd welcome a quick run outside, but I know the second I stepped foot into the Arctic air I'd come right back in to sweat it out!
