Getting Ready For My Long Awaited Getaway

About a month ago, I asked for your suggestions for the perfect summer getaway. Well, I seem to have found the perfect place and I am counting down the hours until I hit the road for my much needed break.

This week, I'll be heading up to the Poconos to a secluded campsite on a lake.

Given all of the options - a beach destination, a historic tourist vacation, or a "cut the cord" and get away from it all vacation, I think that a cabin in the middle of the woods is exactly what I need.

It's been a great summer here in Ocean County, but I can't wait to just relax for a couple of days and get away from it all.

So, after my shift today, I'll pack up, get the dog ready to go, and head a couple hours North for a quiet, relaxing, and re-energizing couple of days off. I'm sure I'll have some great nature photos to share when I return next week, so stay tuned!
