Freedom To Spend Holiday Weekend However We Want

I have no plans for the holiday weekend.  And I'm not bummed out at all!  I'm actually looking forward to some downtime, complete with some mindless TV watching, phone chats with friends in other states, and reading and relaxing in the backyard.

And because I also like to be productive, I'll use some of the time to clean and organize and get some things done around the house.

And I'll take some time to think about the real reason for Memorial Day.  I'll reflect upon the freedoms we have in America, and remember those who fought for those freedoms.

I won't take it for granted that I'm free to spend my weekend the way I want to, as described above.  And how great that you can spend it your way.  Many of you will be at the beach, enjoying the unofficial kickoff to summer at the Shore.  Some of you will be traveling to be with family and friends.  And some will be participating in and attending the parades and ceremonies being held around Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

Whatever your plans, I wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!

And thanks to those of you who will be working Monday.  I hope you enjoy your comp day!
