The Ocean County Human Relations Commission takes its efforts to end intolerance and bring about social justice, to the business community.  The group is holding a free Diversity in the Workplace Seminar next month at Ocean County College.

Commission Chairperson Richard Biolsi says businesses in New Jersey are required to comply with diversity laws and regulations.  However, he says they're bringing in experts to help business leaders better understand and navigate the laws.

One of the speaker's is Francis A. Polito, the Chief Administrative Judge of the Philadelphia District Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  The second, is Linda Tondow, the Vice President and Associate Executive Director of the American Conference on Diversity.  Biolsi says, "they're really going to be talking about the advantages and obligations of a diverse workforce and also present some obligations for businesses."

The seminar takes place on Wednesday May 2nd at the Ocean County College Technology Building Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  The event is free but they request that you RSVP to (732) 255-0400 Ext. 2026.
