It's a first in Brick Township: a grocery store that will sell liquor. According to a recent Brick Shorebeat article, Corrado’s Market, which operates 6 stores in North Jersey, is planning to open its 7th store in Brick’s Laurel Square shopping center during the summer of 2020 in the former Pathmark space and it will carry booze.

This week, the Brick Township Council voted to sell its last remaining license for retail liquor sales to Corrado's. The township council voted to sell the license in July. Corrado’s put in a bid for $575,000, the minimum amount set by the council, and is supposed to receive the license after the vote by the Brick Township Council.
