Electric Charging Stations Coming to the Jersey Shore

Charging Stations are coming to the Jersey Shore.

I spotted the new chargers on the Garden State Parkway at the Forked River rest area. The chargers are not open yet, but by the looks of it, it won't be long. EVgo is America’s largest public electric vehicle fast charging network and they are putting the stations up at the Forked River rest area.

I'm sure they have thought to put the electric charging stations in at the Monmouth rest area too while they continue the reconstruction project there.

I definitely think it's a great move by the Parkway because as we move forward with electric vehicles, there has to be a place to recharge while away from home and you're probably going to see more and more popping up around Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
