Downtown Toms River Turns Into A Huge Outdoor Restaurant On Fridays
On an absolutely gorgeous Friday evening at the Jersey Shore, downtown Toms River is turning into one huge outdoor restaurant as Downtown Night Out comes to Washington Street.
Every Friday through August, the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District is hosting the social distancing friendly community picnic with restaurants throughout the area taking their tables out to Washington Street to host an evening worth of outdoor dining with neighbors and friends.
The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District posted photos to their Facebook page of tables set up that start at the corner of Main and Washington Streets and stretch down the block:
According to the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District's event page for Downtown Night Out on Facebook, you can expect more of the same every Friday between now and August 28th from 5-9pm.
They encourage people to give their favorite downtown restaurants a buzz to see what their Friday evening plans are and to make reservations ahead of time as the weekly event is expected to be popular.
