Don’t Want to Christmas Tree Shop? Walmart Now Ships Live Trees

Between Covid concerns rising and this being an already busy time of year, I don't blame people for not wanting to leave their homes right now. Walmart is on top of that. If you're not feeling venturing outdoors to shop for a tree, Delish is reporting that Walmart will ship a live one to you, and they also ship other holiday plants. Did I mention it's FREE?

According to Delish, all you have to do is select your tree here, and then choose the "deliver to home" option on the left-hand side. Wow!

I personally am a huge fan of this idea. I know some people may think that half the fun of Christmas tree shopping is going to pick it, but unfortunately, that's just not an option for many people this holiday season. I'm all for making things accessible to everyone. Plus, if we can order almost everything else under the sun online, why should Christmas trees be any different?

This also will be a huge help to those who are super busy this time of year. The holiday season is stressful enough with shopping, cooking, gift wrapping - why not take one thing off your plate. Oh, and speaking of less stress, Delish also mentioned there's an option to have your Christmas lights installed (WHAT!) - they are working with a site called Handy to make that possible. I can imagine that will save a lot of fighting this holiday season.
