Here we are, a day into 2015, a chance to start off with a clean slate and make goals for the next 12 months. Do you set goals and resolutions to start the year, or do you like to take it one day at a time?

I think it's good to have goals but, at the same time, it can be not as good to make specific resolutions at the very beginning of the year.

It's one thing to say, "I'd like to save more money this year", but quite another to make a solid statement like, "I'm going to go to the gym every day this year".

People who work at gyms like to joke that it always gets crowded in January and February, but the crowds start to thin out after that, when people start to get more lax on their early year promises.

So how about you? Do you make general goals? Specific resolutions? Tell us in the comments!
