Do We Need A Fantastic Bakery in Beachwood?

Your looking at the former Baldanza’s Town and Country Bakery on route nine in Beachwood (732 Atlantic City Blvd). This property has been dark for quite some time, although there was some activity on the day I passed by last week.

I am asking the question “do we need a fantastic bakery” in Beachwood, South Toms River and the nearby towns? There is nothing better then walking into a local bakery and seeing and smelling all the delicious items in the showcases, a little overwhelming actually. What are your favorite things in a fantastic bakery? Bread, pies, cakes, cookies or all of the aforementioned lol. Yes a lot of grocery stores, coffee shops etc offer “baked” goods and that’s a good thing when you have other shopping needs, but a complete bakery is always great to have in your neighborhood but we see less and less. For me I do have a weakness for fresh baked bread, remember how Bugs Bunny would float through the air to the smell of fresh baked bread, well Google  it and you will get the idea.

So are there any rumors about this location? If there is an answer for this location than it ends that discussion quick lol I did do a Google  search (NJ Parcels) and it appears this location is valued at around 1.5 million dollars, so at that price tag it needs a great business that can really draw. The stretch there along route nine needs a facelift as it is with several empty locations.
