Dave Herman Indicted on Preteen Sex-Related Charge

Retired radio personality Dave Herman appears headed for trial on the accusation that he tried to facilitate a seven-year-old girl's journey from the U.S. to Saint Croix with the aim of sexually abusing her.

The 78-year-old was indicted by a federal grand jury today on one count of attempting to transport a minor to engage in sexual activity. He arrested in mid-Autumn 2013. Herman has repeatedly denied the allegations.

After his arrest, authorities revealed that his on-line conversations were not with the mother of a preteen, but with an undercover investigator.
