Construction Along Route 9 in Toms River Looks Like Business Offices?

Things continue to grow in Ocean County and one of the areas where we see continued construction is along the Route 9 corridor. The section we are looking at in this article is located at 1897 Lakewood Road (Route 9) in Toms River.

I recently drove by this area and grabbed some photos of this latest construction site. After a search of the property location, it appears possible that "1897" will eventually be home to new office space. This is according to Toms River Township and previous meetings concerning the work.

Obviously, there is no word, that I have come across, concerning the business that will eventually fill these offices. Still, hopefully, this will be additional job opportunities for Ocean County residents and services being offered to residents. Additional jobs and employment opportunities are always a plus, as are services that make it easier for residents to take advantage of without having to travel to other locations around the state.

This new construction location is near the Ocean County Business Park. Could this be an addition to the existing Ocean County Business Park? I have no indication that it is.
