Checking Out Ocean County From 3,000 Feet Above [Photo Gallery]

Sometimes, waking up early is well worth it.

This morning, I set the alarm for a good 3 hours earlier than I normally wake up, but it was for a great reason. WOBM's very own Ray Taylor, who is a licensed pilot, took me on a morning journey over Ocean County for a view that most of us never get to see.

Sure, I love to fly the WOBM drone and get photos and videos from hundreds of feet above. But nothing compares to hopping in a plane and getting a truly unique view of our home.

I did take video, which I have to go through and edit down (I don't think everyone needs to see the whole hour and a half of unedited video!), but in the meantime, enjoy these photos from high above the shore!
