Caffrey’s Update – New Outdoor Dining Area Is Now Open

At the beginning of September, we told you about the announcements from Caffrey's Tavern in Lacey Township about their plans for reopening in stages following a year's worth of work since last September's devastating fire.

This week, we're getting a first look at their new outdoor dining area, Caffrey's Backyard, which is now open.

In a discussion thread on the Caffrey's Facebook page, today (Thursday, September 19th) was pegged as the opening for the patio dining room.

I have to throw in a shout out to my colleague Andy Chase who did the most logical thing - he called and asked and they said that yes, Caffrey's Backyard is indeed now open and serving food.

As you might remember from our earlier article, the plan has been to reopen in stages, with the outdoor dining area serving up food first and the main restaurant to follow in early 2020.
