Brick Family Thankful Their Child Was Saved by Brick Police
Earlier this week, WOBM news covered the family of little Bruce Travers who were thankful to members of the Brick Township Police. "I'm grateful for every extra second, every extra minute that he's here," said his mom, Melissa Travers.
21-month-old Bruce was choking on the evening of June 9th and Brick Township Officers Tyler Stephenson and Kevin Docherty responded and jumped into action. "They were here so fast and brought such a sense of calm," Melissa Travers said. "We are so grateful."
The family recently reunited with the officers to thank them for their work and show how much our police are appreciated.
"It's comforting to know that you guys are always there for situations like this," Bruce's Dad Ryan Travers told the police officers during the meeting. "We're just so grateful."
