Blessing of the Animals This Saturday in Toms River

We are love out pets i fact our pets are part of the family and this weekend the "blessing of the pets" will take place in Toms River. This is a great opportunity to have your pets blessed and Father Paul does a wonderful job and always brings a ray of light to our difficult world. Make sure your pets are on a leash or in carrier if needed and enjoy this Saturday in Toms River.

Saint Barbara's Greek Orthodox Church, 2200 Church Road in Toms River, will host the "blessing of the animals" on Saturday, October 17th from 11 am 12 pm.
“Pets are humanizing. They remind us we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nurture and care for all life.” – James Cromwell
A brief prayer service and blessing will be offered by Father Paul in the parking lot in front of the church doors.
All parishioners, friends and neighbors are invited to attend and bring their household family animals and pets.
