Howell High School did not have to look far for a replacement for football coach Cory Davies who stepped down last month after 21 seasons. Derek Reichenbecher, who played for and coached with Davies, was named the Rebels head coach earlier this week.

Former Monsignor Donovan High School basketball standout Sean Grennan is leaving Seton Hall at the end of the school year and will transfer to another program. Grennan struggled for much of his freshman year after undergoing an emergency appendectomy a week before the season began and averaged just 4 minutes a game. The Sea Girt resident will have 3 years of eligibility left after sitting out the upcoming season.
