One of my favorite dishes to enjoy every single Summer at the Jersey Shore are those mouthwatering, fresh, flavorful, lemon-filled Lobster Rolls.
If you are a regular indulger of seafood, you know firsthand that there is nothing like enjoying a fresh lobster while hanging in the sun waterside.
If you are new to the seafood world, allow me to be your guide.
Typically, there are two ways to serve a lobster roll:
1. Maine Lobster Roll: Cold with lobster, mayonnaise, celery chunks and lemon juice.
2. Connecticut Lobster Roll: Hot with lobster with drawn butter and lemon juice.
Personally, choice #2 is my personal favorite.
I have never loved the idea of mixing mayonnaise with seafood because it drowns out the taste.
Mayo is heavy and seafood is flavorful, light and makes me feel classy. To me, it just doesn't mix.
But there are thousands of other people who swear by the Maine Lobster Roll. So give it a try and you'll know immediately if it is for you or not.
But where should you go for the best Lobster Roll experience at the Jersey Shore?
I'm glad you asked. I did some digging on the top-rated rolls in Monmouth & Ocean Counties and these are the places I came up with.
Now this is important: If I missed a Jersey Shore who serves a killer lobster roll, EMAIL ME at Nicole.Murray@townsquaremedia.com so I can add them to the list.
Okay, now onto the good stuff. And could you grab extra lemons please?
