Avoid Traffic This Summer to LBI and Take The Shuttle Bus

Want to avoid traffic this Summer season? Then you will wanna check out the LBI  Shuttle Bus and let them take care of the driving. A recent Sandpaper article outlined the upcoming shuttle bus season.

Fees for the LBI Shuttle are $2 per ride until 7 p.m. and $5 per ride after 7 p.m. (Exact fare is required.) A season pass is also available for $125. Children ages 12 and under ride for free, accompanied by an adult.

According to the Sandpaper article ... through June 23, the shuttle will run Fridays 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Saturdays 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. and Sundays 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The shuttle service begins it's Summer schedule June 24th, with service seven days a week: 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday. In addition...hours are the same for the Manahawkin shuttle except that the last bus leaves the DMV parking lot, on East Bay Avenue, at 11:30 p.m. each day.

The two LBI drop-off points are the 39th Street cutout in Brant Beach, and at How You Brewin’ in Surf City.
