A Seaside Home with an Inspiring Visual Message During The Coronavirus Pandemic
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
This is Easter week and a very holy time of year for many throughout Ocean County. It has been an extremely rough time here in Jersey during the coronavirus pandemic.
Residents are looking for inspiration and hope during this peak COVID 19 case time. Officials say this could be the roughest time for Garden State residents. New Jersey currently has almost 42,000 positive cases, second in the nation, with almost 2,400 here in Ocean County.
As we look for something "bright" in these "dark" times .... one family is helping right here in Ocean County. This week I received a message from Karyn in Seaside Park, she wrote because she wanted to share a project here family put together while social distancing.
Karyn and her family have put together something truly special. "This was one of our family projects today. We wanted to display this lighted cross as a beacon of hope and a call to prayer. We also wanted to symbolize that today is Palm Sunday — the beginning of Holy Week leading up to Easter Sunday."
Karyn and her family have truly put together a "beacon" of hope and I hope residents can see this and keep the faith.
Karyn added "Even through our darkest of days, God is right here. God will never leave us. He will never forsake us. He knows our pain, and with every situation we go through, He is here to help us, and most of all to heal our hurt and pain."
Karyn THANK YOU for sharing and Happy Easter .... #wegotthisshawnandsue
