A Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Was Just Sold In Ocean County
It seems like Ocean County has been pretty lucky lately when it comes to lottery players.
Last month, a $65,000 ticket was sold at a Toms River Wawa.
Then, just days later we got word of a $50,000 ticket coming from the Lanoka Harbor 7-11.
But the winner announced today dwarfs both of those, with an Ocean County lotto player holding a winning $1 million ticket.
The big bucks ticket was sold at the New Lucky 7 Deli on Route 70 in Lakehurst for last Friday's (March 22nd) Mega Millions drawing.
The ticket matched all five of the white balls, but fell short of the $50+ million grand prize by not matching the gold Mega Ball.
The winning numbers were:
07, 36, 58, 60, and 62
Go ahead and check your tickets.
If you're looking at those same 5 numbers right now, catch your breath for a second, look again and make sure, then sign the back of your ticket and fill out a New Jersey Lottery claim form, which you can get by clicking here.
The next Mega Millions drawing is tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 26th) and boasts a $57 million jackpot.
And, don't forget, the Powerball jackpot is approaching historic territory, with a jackpot of $750 million, so far the 3rd biggest in Powerball history. That drawing is on Wednesday (March 27th).
