In years past, one of the most familiar ways that you could tell when the boardwalk would transition from Seaside Heights to Seaside Park was when you would begin walking among the booths and businesses that populated the middle of the boardwalk.

Of course, every single one of them tragically crumbled in the wake of the 2013 boardwalk fire.

While the boardwalk itself was rebuilt within months, in time for the following summer in 2014, the only businesses that have been on the boardwalk like before have been temporary ones, like food trucks and rides.

But I saw something awesome when I got to our Seaside Park Boardwalk Studio today.

As you can see in the photo above, work on permanent structures is going on at a rapid pace.

It'll be great to have the character of Seaside Park's boardwalk returning over the coming weeks as we head into the heart of summer!
