It may not really feel like spring today, with temperatures only in the upper 40s and low 50s, but there's one thing that I see every day that really makes me know that spring is here.

I get out of work at 8pm every week day, and this time of year I can definitely see that that the days are getting progressively longer each day. And I love it.

Usually around June and July I can even wear sunglasses while I drive home.

While we're not at that point quite yet, in only the last few days as I've gotten into my car to head home, I could still see the faintest glimmer of sunset on the horizon.

To me, that is the one thing that really says it's springtime at the Jersey shore.
