New Restaurants

If you've driven around the country there's something that can be seen from Maine to Nevada. A sight that many interstate highway travelers are used to, but hasn't made it over to our neck of the woods yet.

We've had new restaurants opening up or set to open here in Ocean County at a rapid clip lately. And we have another addition that we've actually been expecting for quite some time.

This is one of the reasons that I love social media. Yesterday, we told you about the under-construction Jersey Mike's location that will be coming to Toms River's 1 Route 37 West plaza in the new year.

Just in case we haven't gotten enough new restaurants in Ocean County lately, Toms River will soon have another location of an original shore favorite.

Last night I had the opportunity to join the newest restaurant in Ocean County, Toms River's Mellow Mushroom, for a preview dinner.

We have a couple of restaurant chains making their first forays into New Jersey right here in Ocean County. And the latest is being rather coy about when we'll get to enjoy their cuisine.
