New Toms River Restaurant Teases Opening

We have a couple of restaurant chains making their first forays into New Jersey right here in Ocean County. And the latest is being rather coy about when we'll get to enjoy their cuisine.

About a month ago we told you about the grand opening of Tio Juan's Margaritas in the former Tiffany's location on Route 37. It's their first restaurant in New Jersey after operating mostly in New England.

Now, we have another previously out-of-state chain coming into New Jersey for the very first time right here in Toms River.

We got word about pizza and beer chain Mellow Mushroom coming to Ocean County back in the spring.

They mostly have stores in the South - from Maryland to Florida, and Midwest - from Michigan to Iowa. I've actually been to one of their locations in Florida and enjoyed both their pizza and excellent beer selection.

So when can we expect them to open on Route 37? Here's what they had to say:
