I had a very cool opportunity today, to head out to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst to speak to some of the top staff about the upcoming Power In The Pines airshow.

As we told you about last month, "Power in the Pines" is coming back to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and it's only weeks away!

Through the first week of May, you're likely to see more choppers than usual flying over waterways from Barnegat to Tuckerton. They'll be helmed by new recruits to the U.S. Coast Guard Atlantic City Air Station, engaged in rotary wing air intercept pilot training.

Those loud noises you might hear in the Lakehurst and Manchester areas between now and August might just be the result of aircraft operations at the local joint military base.

One of the most anticipated public events is coming back to The Garden State this spring! The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Open House & Air Show will be rocking the pines in a couple of weeks!
