Over the last two weeks or so, I'd say that I've definitely started feeling the tell tale signs of allergy season - sneezing, an itch in the back of the throat, itchy eyes, etc. According to experts, that's just the start of what's going to be a heavy allergy season.
There are two High Schools here in Ocean County, both affected greatly ..... as was our entire area, by Hurricane Sandy ... that are in the running for a complete "Prom" package for it's children.
One of the last things that people thought of when Hurricane Sandy came through and devastated Ocean County was, "how are we going to put on a prom next year?". But after the waters receded, the damage was assessed, and reality sunk in, students at Toms River High School North were left wondering that very question.
