The Southern Regional High School Java and Jazz Coffeehouse will take place on Sunday April 7^th at 3:00 pm. in the 11/12 cafeteria. The event will feature all of the jazz bands from the high school and middle school. Desserts as well as hot and cold beverages are included in the cost of admission. General admission tickets are $8, students and seniors are $5 with family admission of $20.

A Gift Auction sponsored by the SRHS Class of 2014, 2015 and 2016 will be held Friday, May 3^rd in the Middle School cafeteria. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and the drawings will begin at 7:00. The event is open to the community 18 yrs. and older only. The cost of $5 includes 20 regular auction tickets and a door prize ticket. Additional auction tickets can be purchased at the event for various levels.

Two branches of the Ocean County Library will host Osteoporosis 101 with a bone density screening in April. The Center for Healthy Aging, in cooperation with the Pharmacy Department at Kimball Medical Center, an affiliate of the Barnabas Health System, will discuss the nature and risk factors of osteoporosis, its warning signs and its symptoms. They will also examine the dos and don’ts of osteoporosis medications.The workshop will be followed by free bone density screenings.
