We had quite the situation yesterday, with conflicting reports from various agencies about the status of Parkway Exit 90 Northbound in Brick. Today, we're getting a little more clarity.
UPDATE - According to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the TRANSCOM traffic service, conflicting information has lead to confusion over the status of Exit 90 over the next few days.
There's a good reason that the topic of construction and driving through it comes up a lot in these pages - it's something that we live with every day in Ocean and surrounding counties. While none of us like having to drive through it, there is one thing in particular that makes it all that much worse when it doesn't have to be - merging.
As you can see from the picture above, my morning did not start well today. But I do take some comfort in the fact that it could have been much worse. A lot worse.
A Lakewood family escaped unharmed when a neighbor's chimney crashed into their home.
