Another New Parkway Exit?

The Garden State Parkway may be getting yet another new exit.

The Asbury Park Press reports that Ocean County officials will hold an information session on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, to discuss the possibility of adding another exit ramp at Mile Marker 83 Southbound.  The new exit would break up the seven-mile stretch between Exit 89 in Brick and Exit 82 In Toms River, and hopefully alleviate traffic on Route 9 and Hooper and New Hampshire Avenues.  The Northbound lanes already have an exit an mile marker 83.

Tuesday's meeting is from 4pm to 7pm in the Mancini Room at the Ocean County Library in Toms River, located at 101 Washington Street.
