Purse snatch suspect sought by Brick Township police

A woman believed to have lifted a purse from a shopping cart at the Brick Township WalMart on January 31, then used credit cards in it for a Toms River shopping spree, appears plainly in surveillace images. Police hope a viewer can identify her.

Investigators said that the theft took place at 12:40 PM on the last day of January at the store on Route 88.

The suspect dipped into the credit cards in the handbag to charge up $600 worth of goods at the Target in Toms River, where she's shown leaving at 1:17 PM, authorities said.
