It's true.  I got a text message from a neighbor indicating the available dates at her beach house.  She listed a few weekends that were free and mentioned that I could even stay some weekdays if I could get the time off from work.  Wow!  I was pleasantly surprised at the invitation.  I mean, I've known this woman for almost 5 years.  We see each other while walking dogs and at some neighborhood events. I didn't quite think we were close enough to justify the awesome summer beach house invitation but I smiled at her thoughtful invitation.

Before I had a chance to respond, she texted an apology.  "Sorry, that message was actually meant for another Lisa."  Ooops!

I wasn't really upset.  (Okay, maybe it stung for just, like, a minute.) Sending a message to the wrong person is so easy to do these days.  I told her, "No problem about the message error.  It happens to the best of us."

So just for fun, do you want to share any stories of e-mails or texts that were sent to someone by mistake?  Did you accidentally send your boss something personal that was meant for your best friend?  Did you text something flirty to the new guy in your life but mistakenly sent it to your ex?  Please share in the Comments section.
